Nokia and WorldLink tie up to provide 300 Mbps high speed internet
Nokia Corporation has announced that WorldLink Communications has deployed its WI-Fi Beacon 1.1 mesh access point. It is expected that the service will help provide fast Wi-Fi experience to the WorldLink customers.
WorldLink is one of the largest broadband Internet service providers in Nepal. WorldLink has recently announced its Photon Internet plan, which claims that it will provide a 300Mbps bandwidth. In order to provide seamless and uninterrupted high speed internet to its customer, WorldLink will be using Nokia’s Wi-Fi mesh technology that makes the use of multiple routers to overcome signal blind spots owing to physical barriers.
With CG telecom entering the broadband market with a 100 Mbps internet package, WorldLink has upped the ante! It will be the first time any ISP will be providing 300 Mbps internet bandwidth to its customers in Nepal. Do you think entry of CG telecom in Nepal’s telecommunications market will bring the same disruption that Jio did in India?
