NMB Bank makes history. Bags Bank of the Year award!
The Banker magazine, London has awarded NMB Bank ‘The Bank of the Year Asia 2021”. Beating behemoth banks from some of Asia’s largest economies like Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan, NMB bank has become the first Nepalese Bank to win any international awards!
Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuwa, conferred the award to CEO officer Sunil KC, NMB Chairperson Pawan KUmar Goyan and member of Board of Directors at a program organized at the prime minister’s official residence.
The magazine conferred the title for NMB’s relentless focus on sustainable banking and rapid growth in digital banking, in addition to maintaining high corporate governance standards.
