Complaint piles towards CG net within just 6 months of operation!
There is a growing number of complaints against CG net. CG net had started its internet service in Nepal only six months ago! Customers, who had become sick of lackluster service of traditional ISPs like Subisu, WorldLink had expected that CG net would bring a major disruption in the telecommunication sector just like Jio had in India. While they did bring disruption, customers are angry that the disruption is not in the market rather in their service.
According to Nepal Telecom Association(NTA), thousands of complaints have been registered regarding the poor service of CG net. Some of the common complaints are sub-par internet speed; bad customer service and inability to contact customer service on the designated toll-free number.
CG net has acknowledged the rise in customer complaints adding that the huge but unexpected growth in their consumer base in a short span of time has overwhelmed their infrastructures. Towards that, the company maintains that they will be outsourcing in order to accommodate the consumer needs.
CG net also maintains that a big part of their issues comes from competing ISPs, as they tend to cut the wires of the company in order to hurt their brand. According to them, ISPs in Nepal are not happy with CG introducing high bandwidth internet at such a low price.
