Nepal Clearing House bags “Best Digital Service ICT Awards 2021”
Living With ICT awarded Nepal Clearing House (NCHL) with “Best Digital Service” awards in 2021’s edition of ICT awards.
The event was held on 17th December at Soltee Hotel in Kathmandu. ICT honored several individuals, institutions and products under a total of 12 categories. NCHL was awarded the best digital service provider for its pivotal contributions towards digitization of business as well as individual transactions in Nepal.
NCHL operates numerous platforms such as Electric Check Clearing (NCHL-ECC), Inter-bank Electronic transactions (NCHL-IPS), Connect IPS, Connect RTGS, National Payment Interface (NPI) and Corporate Pay.
As per the data by NCHL, the total electric transactions through the company’s platforms amounted to 13 trillion rupees during the fiscal year 2077/78. The company facilitated electronic transactions primarily in the financial market (stock), banking industry, insurance industry, remittance and government fees & fines.
