Smart QR has been accused of plagiarizing creative content from PYCUS Inc. Plagiarizing creative content is a rampant issue in Nepal. While the government is serious against intellectual property(IP) infringement of Nepali music videos and films, they have shown relative lethargy when it comes to IP violations in other sectors like marketing.
Kashyap Shakya, founder of PYCUS Inc, has labelled the charge against the budding fintech startup that is powered by SCT of copying their work without prior permission or remuneration. Here is the post by Smart QR:

As we can see, Smart QR has literally unmasked itself( pun intended) by copying the content that they had received from PYCUS as a potential pitch. There is one significant difference though. Seems like Smart QR does not care about COVID!!
