Makeways outperforms other agencies at 12th Crity Awards 2022
Advertising Association of Nepal held its 12th edition of Crity Awards on 10th September 2022 at Soltee Hotel, Kathmandu. This year’s Crity Awards included Golden Oak as its title sponsor and was powered by Baltra and Dish Media Network. The event boasted big names like Dabur Nepal, Muktinath Bikas Bank, Prabhu Bank, Cell Pay and QFX among others, as official partners. The award show was inaugurated by the legendary artist Madan Krishna Shrestha.
Makeways, an agency based in Tripureshwor, dominated the award show with 19 titles in its name. The agency was followed by Business Advantage – 5, Prismark Marketing – 5, Outreach Nepal – 4, DigitalIn – 4, Avani Advertising – 3 and ANS Creation – 2 titles. Max Media, Prisma Advertising, DNA Technologies, Mars Pvt Ltd, Key Advertising, Sushree Media and Happy Works managed to grab one title each.
Prior to the event itself, Makeways had already set a record for achieving the highest number of nominations ever recorded at the Crity Awards. Out of the total of 31 categories, the agency was nominated in 24 categories.
The team at Makeways flaunts Mr. Bidhan Rajbhandari as Managing Creative Director, who has a portfolio that marketers in Nepal would certainly be envious of. He has represented Nepal on the global stage in the past. In 2012, he became the first in the country to participate, qualify and compete in the prestigious Cannes Young Lions. In the same year, he also represented the creative industry of Nepal at Adfest Young Lotus.
